"Strong in the Lord" is a ministry of Bright Lights, whose purpose is to encourage young ladies to seek the Lord with all their hearts, prepare them to stay strong in the Lord during their teen years, and to provide them with friendship, fellowship, and godly influence of young leaders who are bright lights for the Lord.

The conference is for young ladies ages 8-14 (mothers are encouraged to attend) and costs $10 (preregistration up to 2 weeks in advance) or $12. The price includes lunch on Saturday and snacks. The schedule is Friday evening 6-9 PM, September 16 and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, September 17. It will be held at Hope Family Fellowship, 2420 S. 53rd Lane, Kansas City, KS.
