Teaching Effective Academics in Christian Homes (TEACH) has provided support for Douglas County homeschoolers since 1988 including a newsletter, a resource center, annual academic testing, learning groups, selected junior and senior high school classes, e-mail announcements, a web page, field trips, help for new homeschoolers, academic contests, school pictures, an annual used curriculum sale, special events, and fellowship and encouragement. Though decidedly Christian in focus, TEACH is open to all home schooling families. TEACH's membership includes approximately 100 families.
