There seems to be a renewed interest in seeing a homeschool choir started. There will need to be a minimum number of students signed up before this group can become a reality. Perhaps a jr/sr high group could be formed if there is enough interest. At this point I have a list that has kids with a variety of ages.
There will be tuition for this group, paid by the semester. A director would need to be paid for his/her time spent during rehearsals as well as preparation time. There will also be music to purchase, and money spent on an accompanist. I would look for this group to perform at the Christmas and Spring Recital that the band and orchestra has, as well as possible trips to a nursing homes, etc.
I know it is hard to commit to an activity without knowing all the details, day/time, etc… but I would like to hear from families that have a sincere interest in seeing this group formed and would sign up if it fits into your schedule.
