Below is something that was sent to me from Barb Michener regarding the Library's summer Reading Program. As a group Teach, we haven't had a ceremony to recognize the readers nor have we in TLC since TLC starts in October. I would suggest that you would pick up your reader's certificate at the children's desk.

you may not remember that I put a blank on the finishers slip for parents to put their homeschool group, to see what would come of that. We have always had the schoolers put down their schools, and then send the lists to the schools, which sometimes have some sort of recognition. I thought this might be useful to the homeschoolers, too. Interestingly, out of 2295 finishers, there were 148 homeschoolers, only 45 of whom designated a group: 10 TEACH, 11 TLC, 2 LAHN, 11 Virtual, 6 LAUGH, 2 Learning Coop, 2 said Oak Meadow, 1 MPE. These latter two may not belong to any group. Homeschoolers made 6% of the total finishers in the Library Summer Reading Program. If anyone wants their list, or feels this has potential, let me know.
